ACTIVITIES
ACTIVITIES IN PRE PRIMARY SECTION
The pre-primary children
celebrated the ‘Red Day’ with great
enthusiasm and vigor. The students were asked to be dressed in anything red for
the day and brought food depicting red for the day example tomato sandwich,
carrot halva, tomato macaroni or tomato rice for their lunch. They enjoyed
their red colored food comprising of carrots and tomatoes and also learnt
healthy eating habits.
Dressed
in red t-shirts, the children looked like lovely little roses in the
garden.

‘Red Day’ was
celebrated in school on April 15 with a
lot of enthusiasm.
·
Children and staff
were dressed in red colored clothes.
·
The school was swathed
in shades of red, with bows, hearts, flowers and ribbons decorated everywhere.
·
The children sang the
rhyme “Two little apples” and saw various things made of red color.
·
A red badge sported.
by all the children while going back home as an exciting reminder of the “Red
Day’.
Overall, it was a very enriching and
memorable experience for all!
Three winners secured positions from all
sections.
Earth day celebration 22-4-2015
Cheerful
students of our School sang songs in the morning assembly. They were shown
slides on nature conservation in a PowerPoint presentation.
A tree plantation drive was organized. An
interclass activity was also held wherein students
painted their thoughts on nature conservation.
Pre-primary
children made beautiful cut out (cotton dabbing activity)depicting Earth. Class
I students made beautiful head gear. Three positions were selected from each
class.
Nature walk (DDA Sports Complex Dwarka)
My
friend is the shade tree, beside the summer way!
My friend is the sunshine, that makes a perfect day!!
Our students were made to witness
the wonders of nature through a walk around the bushes, flowers and trees of
the school campus. The day was dedicated to ‘Nature Love’. Students were made
to touch, smell and feel the soft leaves, tender buds, hard trunks. They also
got a rare opportunity to run on grass barefoot. The importance of preserving
nature was told to the children. The day ended with tiny tots reciting the poem
on ‘Mother Nature.
Tearing and Pasting activity 29-4-2015
In this
activity pre-school children made beautiful butterflies by pasting different
colored papers. Pre-primary kids made lotus and understood its importance.
Class I students made cutouts of traffic light.
ACTIVITIES
ON 4TH APRIL
Book
mark making –Class II-V

Inter class activity of book mark making
was conducted on 4th April 2015.
·
Students were supposed to bring the
material from their home.
·
Performance was not satisfactory as
attendance was very less.
Poster
and Slogan making competition –Class VI-VIII
·
Competition was conducted on 4th
April 2015.
·
Participation was very less.
ACTIVITIES
ON 18TH APRIL 2015
Master
chef No Flame Cooking- Class II-V
·
Master Chef no flame cooking was
organized for the students of class II-V.
·
Students participated enthusiastically.
·
Students learnt new things to prepare
food without flame.
PICK
AND SPEAK EXTEMPORE –Class VI-VIII
·
Activity of pick and speak extempore was
conducted on 18th April 2015.
·
Two students participated from each
house.
·
This activity was null and void because
of the poor performance of the students.
DEBATE
COMPETITION
·
Inter house debate competition was
conducted for classes IX-XII.
·
TOPIC –Teachers to be replaced by
computers( English)
·
Donation of organs ( Hindi)
·
Students were fully prepared and their
presentation was excellent.

DAY -22nd APRIL
·
Earth day was celebrated in the school
with great pomp and show.
·
Participation of all the students is
admirable.
·

SMILE
FOUNDATION
·
School has given its auspicious time for
the welfare of the orphan children by inviting the members of smile foundation.

School has donated funds for the welfare
of these children.

RECITATION COMPETITION (CLASS II-V)

English poem recitation competition was
conducted on 2nd May 2015.
·
Two students participated from each house.
·
Students delivered beautiful poem with props.
·
Performance of the students was satisfactory.
·
Unity house swept the first position.
·
Fraternity house stood first in the quiz.
SCIENCE QUIZ –BUDDING SCIENTIST(
CLASS VI-VIII)
·
Four students participated from each house with
full preparation.
·
Students learnt about new inventions and
ideas.

BEST OUT OF WASTE COLLAGE MAKING
(CLASS IX-XI)
·
There were four participants from each house.
·
Students came up with innovative ideas.
·
Honesty house bagged the first position.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLIES
1ST May
2015 – INTERNATIONAL LABOUR DAY
·
International Labour Day was celebrated in our
school.
·
Class VII-A presented informative skit.
·
Miss. Priyadelivered a scholarly speech on this
day.
·
Students of Green View Public School presented a
didactic dance performance.
8thMay – RED CROSS DAY
·
Street play on RED CROSS DAY was a good attempt
to illuminate students about blood donation.
·
It was performed in school assembly and outside
the school premises.
·
Principal ma’am has delivered an elucidative
speech on this topic.
10th
May – MOTHER’S DAY
·
Mother’s Day was celebrated with great pomp and
show in our school.
·
Class VII –B presented impressive skit.
·
Miss. Neetu Sharma shared her personal view on
this day.
·
A heart touching dance performance was given by
students of class II-V.
·
Tiny tots of our school presented beautiful
poem.
